「農楽隊を先頭にしたウトロのデモは、カッコ良くて好きだ」 かつてのウトロでは、土地と生活を守るための集いがたくさんありました。 そのウトロの集いには、いつも農楽がありました。 農楽はこの土地に伝わる朝鮮半島のリズム。 ウトロの農楽は、女性達を中心に始まりました。 家族のために必死で働き、子や孫を育てる日々に、「立ち退き」や「裁判」、「闘い」という言葉がふりかかってきた後のことです。 ウトロの農楽は、女性達が土地を守ろうとする闘いの中で培った、自分達の“声”です。 ときには大通りを進むデモ隊の先頭に立って、ときにはウトロを知りたいと集まった人達の輪の真ん中で、思いを込めて演奏した農楽隊の姿に多くの人が心を揺さぶられました。 ウトロを知ることは、ウトロの農楽を知ること。 今回の企画展を通して、あの時代、女性達ではじめた農楽の風景に出会ってもらえたらうれしいです。 日本語、ハングル、英語の3言語に対応しています。

ウトロ平和祈念館第一回企画展は、「ウトロに生きた人々」と題して、ウトロで生きて今はお亡くなりになった方々をテーマにした第一回企画展（初展示：2022年4月～2023年4月、再展示：2024年5月～2024年6月）の図録です。 誰よりもこの祈念館を見てほしかった、ウトロに生きて、地区住民の生活とこの地を守るために尽力された方々を偲び、これらの人々の姿とエピソードをご紹介します。この方々にも当然のように、さまざまな姿や表情、想いと逸話があります。「ウトロに生きた人々」を本祈念館にお招きできなかったことはとても残念ですが、この図録を通じて、皆様にこの方々が歴史を生きたその意味を感じていたければ嬉しく思います。 日本語、ハングル、英語に対応しています。 展示に登場する金教一さんが書かれた冊子との割引価格でのセット購入も可能です。 --------------------------- The first special exhibition at the Utoro Peace Memorial Museum is titled "The People Who Lived in Utoro."
