小冊子「私の歴史 ウトロに生きる」金教一（ウトロ問題を広げる会）

この冊子は、2007年当時ウトロ町内会長だった、故・金山教一さん（1939-2016）が自分の生い立ちとこれまで生きてきた道を語ったものです。「ウトロ問題を広げる会」の故・水谷劦一さんによって編纂されました。

金山教一さんは、敗訴に終わったウトロの土地を巡る裁判闘争と、それに続く日本・韓国・国際社会に向けた運動の困難な闘いのあいだ、長年にわたってウトロ町内会長を務めました。

水谷劦一さんは、京都府の養護学校教諭を退職後、この冊子のもととなった「ウトロ問題を広げる会」の会長として活動しました。

この冊子はウトロを知るための資料として販売され、当時の売上はウトロ町内会の活動資金として寄付されていました。その小冊子を「ウトロ問題を広げる会」からウトロ平和祈念館に寄贈していただき、祈念館の維持運営費のために販売することとなりました。2007当時のウトロを知ることのできる貴重な冊子です。

This booklet in Japanese was written by the late Mr. Kyoiri Kanayama (1939-2016), who was the chairman of the Utoro Town Council. In it, he recounts his life and the path he has walked. The booklet was compiled by the late Mr. Keichi Mizutani of the "Utoro Issue Awareness Group."

Mr. Kanayama served as the chairman of the Utoro Town Council for many years during the difficult struggle over the land dispute in Utoro, which ended in a legal defeat, followed by challenging advocacy efforts directed at Japan, South Korea, and the international community.

Mr. Mizutani, after retiring as a special education teacher in Kyoto Prefecture, became the chairman of the "Utoro Issue Awareness Group," the organization behind this booklet.

This booklet was initially sold as a resource for understanding Utoro, and the proceeds were donated to support the activities of the Utoro Town Council. The "Utoro Issue Awareness Group" has now donated the booklet to the Utoro Peace Memorial Museum, where it will be sold to support the museum's maintenance and operational costs. This booklet is a valuable resource for learning about Utoro as it was in 2007.
